My name is Amy and this is my story: 

My passion for education, children, advocacy, helping, and empowering others began many chapters ago. The first chapter of my adult life allowed me to finish my formal education as an Early Childhood Educator. Working with children as they began to explore and learn about their world.  The next chapter made me a mom and began my passion for advocacy and birth. I became a Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator and then began providing education and doula services. I have worked with a variety of new families with different family dynamics as they prepared to add blessings to their families. I trained with DONA International and ProDoula to become a ProDoula Certified Labor Doula. Being passionate about empowering women as they give birth led me to Spinning Babies®.  Learning how to help women help their baby find the optimal fetal position for pregnancy and birth, to ease discomfort and help make birth less painful.  

We continue to add chapters to the book of life. Every day is an adventure. Teaching children and adults while empowering others as they navigate new chapters in their lives. Celebrating the love of two people. Assisting children as they develop and learn new skills. Offering a refuge for adults to recharge. Empowering families to advocate for what is important to their family. As we continue to start new chapters of our lives, it can lend itself to excitement, different challenges, questions, and concerns.
